1. Scope

This policy applies to the Xystis website at www.xystis.com, including the pilot application form and any email correspondence that follows from it.

It does not cover the Xystis Worker mobile app or the smart-workwear telemetry platform, which are described in a separate notice. See the Xystis Worker Privacy Policy for that information.

2. Information We Collect

Pilot application details you submit: first and last name, work email address, company, crew size, industry, and the free-text description of your work environment.

Correspondence: if you reply to our emails, we keep the contents of that correspondence so we can respond and evaluate pilot fit.

Standard server and security data: our hosting provider processes basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps to operate the site securely.

Privacy-friendly analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views and traffic. It is cookieless, does not track you across other websites, and is not used for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information you submit to review your pilot application, contact you about pilot fit, schedule and run a pilot if appropriate, and keep records of pilot inquiries.

We do not use pilot application data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. How Information Is Shared

We share information with service providers that help us operate the site and respond to applications: our website host (Vercel) and our transactional email provider (Resend), which delivers your application to our team inbox.

We may also disclose information to government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

We keep pilot application information for as long as needed to evaluate and follow up on your inquiry, run any resulting pilot, comply with legal obligations, and maintain reasonable business records.

You can ask us to delete your application information at any time using the contact details below.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network transport (TLS) for the website and our service providers, and limited access to application data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices And Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information you submitted by contacting privacy@xystis.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law.

8. International Processing

Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where Xystis or its service providers operate.

9. Children

This site is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children.

10. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as the website or our processes change. The effective date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated.
